School Curriculum
The Curriculum at Leya and Babita's Joy
Our schools operate two sections: the pre-primary and the primary section. Each section is carefully structured to ensure learners achieve their full potential.
Pupils are taught essential skills including Mathematics, General Knowledge, Drawing, Singing, Motor Control, Reading, and Handwriting, among others. These subjects prepare them for the next level of education.
The primary section follows the Uganda Primary School Curriculum, delivered in three cycles: Lower Primary, Transition, and Upper Primary. This structure enables learners to develop competencies and life skills for lifelong learning.
Beyond academics, we actively engage learners in co-curricular activities such as debates, scouting, reading competitions, swimming, music, dance, drama, and sports. These experiences help shape well-rounded individuals prepared for the future.
We also emphasize etiquette and moral values, teaching children how to live respectfully within society. We respect each child’s religious background and support participation in their respective beliefs, fostering spiritual growth and respect for the Creator.
